An important part of meditative practice, yoga, ceremonies and energy work is the ability to breath clearly and naturally. Sometimes we forget how to breathe, which may be a symptom of stress and a cause of illness. It is remarkably easy to retrain our automatic breathing to one of long calm breaths into the lower belly. Through slow and relaxing breathing techniques, we can stabilise our breathing to a lower energy centre which is important for grounding. We will provide you with audio exercises that can be repeated as much as necessary for you to feel the benefits of retraining an effective respiration system.
The techniques we use are those associated with Taoist practices for chi development and longevity, often seen in martial art and yoga training. This style of breathing also brings stimulation and promotes conscientious awareness to the organs in your lower torso.
